Debian Repository cleanup

I've just cleaned up and updated my Debian backports repository. The firefox1.5, mysql5, php5 and signing-party packages have been removed as they can be found on backports.org, now. The fglrx package has been added. Each of my backports has the Debian revision number decreased by one and the string "tokkee" and my own revision number added to it (similar to the way backports.org is handling this). The kismet and rrdtool packages are available in current versions in testing now, so I removed my self-packaged versions and added backports.

Upgraded to OpenZaurus 3.5.3

I've just upgraded the operating system on my Sharp Zaurus handheld to OpenZaurus version 3.5.3 using the GPE image. It really runs great. However, I do not recommend to enable visual effects in the "Look & Feel" settings dialog - it broke my system ;-)

Debian package for sims available

sims 0.2 released

users plugin for collectd

I've written a small plugin for collectd that counts the number of users logged into the system (users-plugin). It is already available in the official collectd Subversion repository.

Altered the SVN repository setup to use https instead of svn

My Subversion repositories are no longer accessible by the svn-protocol. I'm no longer using the svnserve daemon to serve my SVN repositories but I setup my Apache webserver to access the repositories using the WebDAV extension to the HTTP-protocol. To checkout any repository you should now use svn co https://svn.tokkee.org/<repository>.

installed a blog

Today, I installed blosxom as my new (in fact it's the first ;-) blog software. It's really neat, as it used plain textfiles as backend. Thanks to Norbert Tretkowski for the hint. I had to do some slight modifications to the code for it to fulfill my needs. Now, I just really love it ;-)

sims 0.1 released

Today, the first official version of sims has been released. sims (sims is more than sig2dot) parses the output of "gpg --list-sigs" and produces graphs of all the signature relationships in different output formats. It aims to be a replacement for sig2dot which provides many new features. Additionally, parsing of the input is much improved.
